Not a Retreat With Classes. A Curriculum You Live Inside.
Lodging isn't a separate amenity — it's how the immersion actually works. Participants live the rhythm of the text for the length of the program.
What's Actually Included
Every program runs on a single bundled fee which will include instruction, lodging, and meals together, and not itemized separately. That's a deliberate design choice. The immersion depends on the curriculum and daily life being genuinely inseparable, not a class schedule with a hotel stay attached. This is an immersion experience, not a hotel stay with a discussion about the Tanakh here and there.
- Hebrew Language Immersion
Structured instruction building real fluency — grammar, vocabulary, and reading practice aimed at direct engagement with the text, not phrasebook familiarity.
- Tanakh in Original Context
Torah, Nevi'im, and Ketuvim studied as a continuous, historically grounded text — not excerpted verses read out of order.
- Residential Immersion
Extended on-site stays where the day's rhythm — study, meals, rest, and celebration — follows the same pattern the text itself suggests, rather than a classroom day that ends at 5pm. This is living the Tanakh.
- Communal Meals & Daily Practice
Meals and daily rhythm held in common with other participants — not a private room with optional group activities. Participants are encouraged to try the ancient form and rhythm of dining - reclining, eating communally, and without cutlery.
What the Rhythm Actually Looks Like.

Structured language instruction, building toward direct textual reading over the course of the program.
Shared meal with the full cohort — part of the daily rhythm, not a break from it.
Guided study of Torah, Nevi'im, or Ketuvim in its historical and textual context, individually and in small groups.
Group reflection connecting the day's study to individual, family, and communal practice.
Before You Ask.
Is this the same as a retreat?
Not in the usual sense. A retreat implies a break from structured content; this is structured curriculum first, with residential life built around it rather than the reverse.
Do I need prior Hebrew knowledge?
No — programs are built for real immersion from wherever you're starting. Specific cohort prerequisites, if any, will be listed when applications open.
Where does the program run?
Primarily at our Ghana campus and within our U.S. community — the two homes established so far. As families and individuals carry what they've learned back to their own communities, we envision new chapters taking root in those localities as the family grows worldwide.
When can I apply?
We're in formation and haven't opened applications yet. Join the Founder's List on the home page and you'll hear first when dates and cohorts are announced.
